Online Giving: Scheduled donations can be made securely via Electronic Check, or Credit Card, through the Member Portal on the website, or through the smartphone app. Click HERE for Q&A on Online Giving.
The first step is to register on the Member Portal. This creates an account that can be used to log into the Member Portal itself, or onto the My Church Mobile App.
The video below walks through the process of registering on the Member Portal. When you perform this registration, be prepared to receive email from the Elexio system with details for confirming the email account. The code contained in the email is only active for a limited time.
After initial registration, you will have access to a limited set of features in the Portal and Mobile App. Accounts for church members will be validated (by a human reviewer) before being given access to the directory.
If the church already has an email address on file that is being used for update emails and newsletters, please be sure to use that address to avoid creating a duplicate account.

Yes. Every transaction is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the same industry-standard encryption trusted for online commerce with world-class financial organizations. Elexio (our database and website provider) processes the transactions securely, and holds all financial account information on their servers. We (Madison UMC) do not have access to your financial information, and only receive notifications of the transactions.
To insure your connection is secure, verify that you can see a LOCK symbol on the address bar of your web browser, which indicates a secure encrypted connection. Never provide financial information on web sites that do not indicate this. If you do not see the LOCK symbol, access the system directly by opening https://madisonum.elexiopulse.com in a new browser window, and log in from there.
You set the date when you want your card charged and this will be the date of contribution in our system. For eChecks, the payment will hit your bank 2 banking days later, so a Monday contribution date will hit Wednesday, while a Thursday contribution date will hit on Monday because of the weekend.
Yes! This is the least costly method for the church to receive your electronic donation.
Donations must be a minimum of $5.00 and there are no limitations on the maximum amount.
