Sewing Group

Sewing Group - a group of women who enjoy meeting together

to create for our community.  Sewing projects have included, among others, COVID-19 masks, little girl's dresses for missions,

and flannel blankets for the homeless, ministered to by

local assistance to the needy organizations.

Not limited to sewing, other projects have knitted and

crocheted hats and scarves.  Currently, Sewing Group

is learning to make Folded Star hot pads.

Sewing Group meets in the Youth Room on Tuesdays at 10 am.  The planned schedule is shown below.

Christmas ornaments were made by Sewing Group, without sewing!  There's always something new to learn and do!  Dorothy Murray instructed this project.

Some of the hats, scarves and warm blankets being crocheted, knitted and sewn by Sewing Group.  This year's hats and gloves are destined for missions: local area shelters and Momma Bags for Upper Sand Mountain Parish.
